Parlay is a tool that helps teachers to better facilitate discussions whether they be online or face to face. Students can easily respond to questions that are asked in online discussions. During face to face discussions teachers can track who is talking, how long they are talking for, etc. This allows for better and more meaningful participation in discussions.

During the screencast video, I learned about how to use this tool. I learned about a variety of helpful and valuable resources that Parlay offers. I learned a lot about how this can be used for online or face to face discussions in an easy and helpful way.
In a face to face classroom, Parlay can be used to facilitate discussions. In an art classroom, oftentimes discussions are in the form of critique. Critiques are valuable because students can discuss their artwork, get ideas for where they may be heading next, get feedback on what they are working on, etc. During a face to face critique, Parlay would allow for me to track and see who is talking and how long they are talking for. This can help me to make sure that all students are getting a chance to speak.
In a remote learning classroom, Parlay would allow for me to facilitate an online discussion. This could similarly be in the form of critique. All students could send me images of what they have been working on, and the pieces they have created. Students could then have the chance to discuss all the same things we would in a face to face critique. Students could then reply to each other, and have a discussion through an online format.
